Job Description
Accenture is looking for a Pharmacovigilance Services Manager to oversee the creation and implementation of a Portfolio Quality Management framework for Life Sciences R&D engagement. This role involves establishing and managing quality and compliance activities, leading audits and inspections by regulatory authorities, and ensuring the effective management of deviations, CAPAs, and contract updates. The Pharmacovigilance Services Manager will also be responsible for ensuring team performance, managing client relationships, and delivering key metrics for ongoing process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Management: Establish quality and compliance activities for both existing and new services, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards.
  • Audit & Inspection Management: Lead audits/inspections, acting as the point of contact for regulatory authorities and ensuring audit recommendations are addressed.
  • Process Improvement: Drive the standardization of processes and systems across multiple project locations to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Document Management: Assume overall responsibility for document management related to pharmacovigilance activities.
  • Compliance Tracking: Monitor and track CAPAs, deviations, and other corrective actions, ensuring timely closure.
  • Client Interaction: Lead regular Quality Governance meetings with clients, sharing quality and compliance metrics and managing action items.
  • Training & Development: Ensure the engagement team receives the necessary GxP and role-specific training on time.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee the performance of the team, resolve conflicts, and contribute to continuous improvement in pharmacovigilance operations.

Skills Required:

  • Pharmacovigilance & Drug Safety Surveillance
  • Strong understanding of GxP, regulatory requirements, and pharmacovigilance processes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) or a related field (MSc).
  • 13 to 18 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, with a solid understanding of regulatory compliance and quality management systems.
