Job Description & Eligibility Criteria
AIIMS New Delhi is inviting applications for the position of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) under an ICMR-funded research project. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with an MSc or PhD in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related fields to work in a prestigious medical research environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting in vitro and in vivo experiments related to lung cancer research.
- Handling animal cell culture, drug delivery models, and molecular biology techniques.
- Performing Flow Cytometry, PCR, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), and Western Blotting.
- Analyzing data and contributing to research publications.
Eligibility:
- First-class MSc or PhD in:
- Life Sciences
- Biotechnology
- Biochemistry
- Microbiology
- Genetics
- Zoology
- Toxicology or allied sciences
Desirable Qualifications:
- Candidates with UGC-NET, CSIR, DBT, ICMR, or other national exam qualifications will have an advantage.
- Prior experience in cancer research, animal handling, and molecular biology techniques.
Salary & Duration
- Salary: As per ICMR norms
- Duration: Initial appointment for 3 months (extendable up to 2 years based on performance).
