Position: Senior Specialty Representative – Bone Health
Location: Lansing, MI, USA
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive knowledge of Amgen’s products and communicate clinical benefits to medical professionals.
- Achieve territory sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement, delivering branded sales messages, conducting educational programs, and scheduling follow-ups.
- Develop and manage account relationships, including customizing discussions, ensuring product access, resolving reimbursement issues, and maintaining product contracts.
- Provide feedback on marketing strategies, analyze sales activities’ effectiveness, and develop territory plans in collaboration with the District Manager.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and continually grow as a Senior Specialty Representative.
- Maintain a passion for Amgen’s products throughout the sales cycle, building the brand and focusing on patient service.

Candidate Profile:
- Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of sales experience, OR
- Associate degree with 6 years of sales experience, OR
- High school diploma/GED with 8 years of sales experience.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in sales, marketing, or clinical roles within pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostics, healthcare insurance, pharmacy services, medical devices, or medical supply industries.
- Over 3 years of experience as a Senior Specialty Representative.
- Sales experience in specialties such as oncology, cardiology, inflammation, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, bone health, respiratory, hematology, or infectious diseases.
- Advanced influencing and relationship-building skills focused on sales outcomes.
- Knowledge of the local market.
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration is advantageous.
- Adaptability to core competencies, including sales planning, leveraging industry knowledge, effective communication, result orientation, and cultivating relationships.
