Position Overview:
We are seeking a Toxicology Executive to join our team. In this role, you will conduct health hazard assessments and risk assessments with a high level of autonomy. You will be responsible for establishing acceptable daily intakes and identifying critical toxicological endpoints. Your expertise will support various business units and ensure regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Health Hazard Assessments promptly upon request.
- Perform risk assessments from a toxicological perspective.
- Establish acceptable/tolerable daily intakes for substances.
- Identify No Observed Effect Levels (NOEL) and No Observed Adverse Effect Levels (NOAEL).
- Generate comprehensive reports based on toxicological science.
- Support Safety, Health, and Environment assessments as needed.
- Collaborate with global project teams in Quality Assurance and other divisions.
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert for toxicological sciences.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and internal policies.
Candidate Profile:
- Education: Master of Pharmacy in Pharmacology (M. Pharm) and Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm).
- Experience: Over 5 years in Toxicology within CRO and Pharmaceutical industries.
- Skills:
- Knowledge of general and regulatory toxicology.
- Experience with risk assessment for medical products/devices.
- Familiarity with toxicological testing for new chemical entities and pesticides.
- Understanding of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards.
