Responsibilities in the Job
As a Research Associate or Senior Research Associate in the Process R&D department, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting lab validation experiments and monitoring reactions with minimal supervision.
- Developing and compiling experimental data to prepare batch and development reports.
- Ensuring adherence to GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and safety standards.
- Managing online documentation to meet quality parameters, timelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Handling impurity profiling, in-process controls, and named reactions with efficiency.
- Engaging in regular communication with your team and maintaining progress on project timelines.
- Supporting quality control measures to ensure the integrity of research results.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position will meet the following qualifications:
- Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry or a related field.
- Experience: Between 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in Process R&D, preferably in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Knowledge: A strong understanding of named reactions, reaction mechanisms, and spectroscopic techniques, including Proton NMR, H-NMR, and Mass Spectrometry.
Skills Required
