Roles & Responsibilities
As an Associate Scientist – Analytical Sciences, you will play a key role in planning and implementing analytical science initiatives for Oral Care categories. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating with global R&D teams for stability testing and analytical support.
- Performing routine analysis and testing using advanced analytical instruments like HPLC, GC, and Ion Chromatography in a cGMP environment.
- Transferring analytical methods and troubleshooting instrumentation.
- Developing, optimizing, and validating analytical methods.
- Ensuring compliance with Product Safety, Quality, and Regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining accurate laboratory records and adhering to ALCOA+ principles.
Key Stakeholders
- Internal: I&S, Technical Services, Supply Chain, Quality/EHS, Microbiology, and Manufacturing Units.
- External: Global R&D, Manufacturing Sites, Analytical Groups, and Quality Teams.
Qualifications & Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: M.Sc. in Analytical Science, Bioanalytical, Organic Chemistry, or a related field. Alternatively, a Master’s in Pharmacy is acceptable.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience, including at least 1 year of hands-on experience with HPLC/GC in a cGMP environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in chromatography (HPLC/GC), Openlab software, and compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 for electronic records.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with ICH/WHO/FDA guidelines, stability testing, and method validation.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and business presentation skills.
