Position: Pharmaceutical Development Scientist
Candidate Profile:
- Education:
- M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics) with 8-10 years of industrial experience
- or PhD in Drug Delivery/Biopharmaceutics with 1-4 years of industrial experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manufacture innovative formulations to enhance the bio-pharmaceutical properties and bioavailability of New Chemical Entities (NCEs).
- Expertise in advanced oral and parenteral delivery systems, including lipid-based and nano-particulate systems, and biodegradable polymeric systems.
- Understand physicochemical properties influencing NCE developability (e.g., Rule of 5, BCS Class I/II/IV/V).
- Familiarity with the pharmaceutical development processes throughout NCE development.
- Conduct solid-state characterization, polymorph screening, and salt screening experiments.
- Prepare protocols, guidelines, and SOPs for laboratory equipment and processes.
- Knowledge of GLP, GMP, ICH guidelines, and related safety and environmental processes.
