Aurigene is seeking a Scientist / Senior Scientist – Formulation Development to join their team. The company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, focuses on the discovery and clinical development of therapies for cancer and inflammatory diseases. They are particularly involved in precision oncology, oral immune checkpoint inhibitors, and the Th-17 pathway.
Job Description:
- Hands-on experience in physicochemical characterization, solid-state characterization, polymorph screening, and salt screening is required.
- Expertise in industrial crystallization procedures and drug substance manufacturing processes.
- Experience in developing and manufacturing enabling and novel formulations to improve bio-pharmaceutical properties and bioavailability of New Chemical Entities (NCEs).
- In-depth knowledge of advanced oral & parenteral delivery systems such as lipid-based, nano-particulate, and biodegradable polymeric systems.
- Experience in developing drug delivery systems for monoclonal antibodies (mABs) and antibody-drug conjugates.
- Familiarity with advanced material science and techniques like DSC, PXRD, TGA, DVS, Hot Stage Microscopy, FUR, NMR, HPLC, and LCMS.
- Understanding of physicochemical properties governing NCEs’ developability to the clinic, such as BCS Class II/III/IV molecules.
- Ability to prepare protocols, guidelines, SOPs for lab equipment/instruments and processes.
- Knowledge of GLP, GMP, and ICH guidelines.
- Understanding of safety, health, and environmental processes.
Candidate Profile:
- M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics) with 10-12 years of experience, or Ph.D. in drug delivery/biopharmaceutics with 5-6 years of industrial experience in formulation development.
