Job Description:
- Identify profitable suppliers and initiate business
- Analyze quotations and bids, prepare comparative statements, and finalize purchase orders and deliveries
- Monitor market price trends for API, excipients, solvents, enzymes, and other chemicals
- Manage and negotiate contracts, release purchase orders, and ensure strategic sourcing for critical commodities
- Understand cost models and support cost implementation for projects
- Develop business partnerships with external manufacturers and suppliers
- Negotiate advantageous terms with external manufacturers
- Attend internal production, technical QA/QC meetings
- Conduct vendor audits and evaluations with QC leads
- Prepare Form-10 for material import and coordinate with CHA for clearance
- Handle correspondence and coordination regarding shortages, rejections, and other issues
- Coordinate with R&D for specification changes and new material/vendor development
- Develop vendors for external manufacturing and raw material sourcing
- Follow up on test reports for new raw material samples sent to QC
- Follow up on regulatory documents for API, excipients, and solvents
- Support financial analysis and procurement reports preparation
- Maintain purchase records and contractual documentation
Sr. Research Associate / Research Associate – AR&D
Department: Analytical Development
Total Experience: 3-5 Years
Reporting to: Team Leader / Department Head
Qualification: M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Analysis from top colleges (preferably CBSE / ICSE board students with good academic records)
Job Description:
- Follow SOPs and implement as per GLP
- Provide analytical support for formulation development, including drug release profiling, assay, content uniformity, blend uniformity, related substances, water content, and other analyses
- Perform online documentation of analytical activities
- Complete day-to-day research activities timely to meet R&D objectives
- Transfer analytical methods to sites and perform regular API and stability sample analyses as per protocols
- Ensure correct methods, samples, protocols, and analysis during regular checks
- Ensure the availability of valid impurities and reference standards
- Maintain cleanliness and follow GLP in the lab
- Calibrate analytical equipment and instruments as per schedule
