Project Title: Standardization and small scale controlled field trial of patented mosquito larvicidal compositions
Supervisors: Prof. Paul Atish Tulshiram and Prof. Vishal Saxena
Scope of Work:
- Phytochemistry
- Analytical method development using techniques such as HPLC / LC-MS, HPTLC
- Testing phytochemicals on mosquitoes and their larvae
Essential Qualification:
- M.Pharmacy / M.S Pharm. in Natural Products, Pharmaceutical / Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmacognosy, Phytochemistry
Desirable Qualification:
- Knowledge of HPLC/LC-MS, HPTLC
- Isolation & characterization of phytochemicals
- Formulation preparation (Preference for GPAT, CSIR/UGC NET qualified candidates)
Fellowship: Rs. 37,000 – Rs. 42,000 per month (based on the year of PhD and performance)
Duration: As per BITS Pilani norms
