Post: Assistant Professor (02-UR & 01-OBC)
Department: Pharmacy
Nature of Appointment: Temporary, for less than a year or until further orders

Eligibility Criteria

For UR Posts (02):

1. Basic Qualification: B. Pharm.
2. Registration: Registered as Pharmacist under Pharmacy Act 1948 (as amended).
3. Master’s Degree: M.Pharm. in Pharmacology with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade from an Indian or accredited foreign university.
4. Desirable: Ph.D. in Pharmacy.
5. Preference: Candidates with teaching experience.

For OBC Post (01):

1. Basic Qualification: B. Pharm.
2. Registration: Registered as Pharmacist under Pharmacy Act 1948 (as amended).
3. Master’s Degree: M.Pharm. in Pharmacology with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade from an Indian or accredited foreign university.
4. Desirable: Ph.D. in Pharmacy.
5. Preference: Candidates with teaching experience.

Terms and Conditions

1. Salary: Consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 50,000/-.
2. Benefits: No additional benefits like regular employees.
3. Relaxation: Applicable to SC/ST/OBC/physically challenged candidates as per University/GOI rules.
4. No Right to Regular Appointment: This engagement does not vest any right for regular appointment.
5. Termination: The University can terminate the engagement at any time due to unsatisfactory performance or other administrative reasons.
6. Other Duties: Candidates may be assigned other duties by the University.
7. Expiry of Engagement: Engagement ends as per the offer without extension unless explicitly stated.
8. Verification: Engagement will be terminated if any credentials are found false.
