Job Role: Medical Coder / Sr. Medical Coder

Responsibilities in the Job:

As a Medical Coder or Senior Medical Coder at Cotiviti, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Review and analyze medical records to assign appropriate ICD codes.
• Ensure accurate and compliant coding in line with HCC guidelines.
• Perform coding of diagnoses and procedures for healthcare providers.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding practices and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with medical professionals to clarify information when necessary.
• Stay updated with the latest in medical terminology, anatomy & physiology, and coding guidelines.

Qualifications:

To apply for the Medical Coder / Sr. Medical Coder position at Cotiviti, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 1.2 years of experience in HCC coding.
• Active certification from AAPC (American Academy of Professional Coders) or AHIMA (American Health Information Management Association) is mandatory.
