1. Project Scientist I (Post Code: 1)
- Project Title: Development of Hand-Held Immunosensor Device using Bioinspired Graphene-Based Nanocomposites for the detection of Parkinson’s Disease Biomarkers.
- Duration: Initially one year.
- Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Chemistry/Physics/Materials Science/Nanoscience/Nanotechnology/Biotechnology OR M.Tech in Biotechnology/Nanoscience/Nanotechnology from a recognized university.
- Desirable: Experience in biosensors and electrochemistry, good communication skills, skilled in research paper and patent writing, research papers in high-quality journals, and experience in teamwork.
- Upper Age Limit: 35 years.
- Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 56,000/- + HRA.

3. DBT – JRF (Project No.: GAP-141)
- Project Title: Simultaneous Photo-Bio-Electro-Degradation of recalcitrant compounds of wastewater and Bioenergy Generation through Visible Light-Induced Electrodes bases advanced Microbial Fuel Cells.
- Duration: Initially one year.
- Essential Qualification: B.Tech. in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering/Material Engineering OR M.Sc. in Chemical Science from a recognized university. Candidates should be selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
- Desirable: Experience in electrochemistry, Carbon-based materials (CNF/CNT/graphene), wastewater systems, and microbial fuel cells in industrial and academic institutions.
- Upper Age Limit: 28 years.
- Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 37,000/- + HRA.
General Instructions and Information
- Eligibility: Only Indian nationals who have acquired the essential qualifications and whose results have been declared are eligible to apply.
- Experience: Experience required for any post should be post-qualification experience.
- Tenure: The tenure of the project staff is co-terminus with the duration of the project. Re-engagement in another project requires going through the normal selection process.
- Leave: Project staff will be entitled to paid leaves as per rules.
- Reservation: Preference will be given to SC/ST/OBC candidates to ensure their representation.
- TA/DA: Project staff will be entitled to TA/DA while on official tour.
- Medical Facilities: Provided as per Central Govt. medical norms for the project staff only.
- Accommodation: Provided wherever possible or HRA will be paid as per rules.
- Ph.D. Registration: Allowed for project staff who have worked for a minimum of two years and have cleared CSIR-UGC Lectureship (NET) or GATE or published 02 papers in international peer-reviewed journals.
- Remuneration: Consolidated remuneration is called “Stipend” with no increment component.
- Age Relaxation: 5 years relaxation for SC/ST/PH/OBC and women candidates as per GOI instructions.
- Selection Process: Shortlisting by a Screening Committee followed by an interview by the Selection Committee.
