Job Description:

The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) Central Organization, under the Ministry of Defence, is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Pharmacist at ECHS Polyclinics in Bengdubi and Raiganj.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescribed medications to patients.
• Provide accurate information regarding the correct usage of medication.
• Maintain records of prescriptions and inventory of medications.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• For both locations:
  • B.Pharmacy from a recognized institute.
  • OR 10+2 with a science stream and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Number of Positions:

• Bengdubi: 1 position
• Raiganj: 1 position

Application Process:

• Interested candidates should submit their applications in the prescribed format along with self-attested photocopies of educational qualifications and work experience.
• Applications must be submitted in duplicate to the OIC Stn HQs (ECHS Cell), Bengdubi by 12 August 2024.
• Late applications will not be accepted.

Interview Details:

• Date: 16 August 2024
• Time: Candidates should report by 0815 hrs. The interview will be held between 0900 hrs to 1500 hrs.
• Venue: Station Cell, ECHS, Bengdubi (near SBI Bengdubi)

Additional Information:

• Candidates must bring original certificates, mark sheets, degree certificates, and work experience documents to the interview.
• Two passport-size color photographs are also required.
• Ex-servicemen should bring their discharge book, PPO, and service records.
• No TA/DA will be provided.
