About ECHS:

The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) operates under the Ministry of Defence and aims to provide comprehensive healthcare to ex-servicemen and their dependents. With 28 Regional Centres and 426 Polyclinics, ECHS plays a vital role in the health and well-being of the armed forces community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications as prescribed.
• Provide drug information and counsel patients on medication use.
• Maintain accurate records of pharmacy operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: B.Pharmacy or an approved Diploma in Pharmacy from an institute recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India.
• Registration: Must be registered as a Pharmacist.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (ex-servicemen preferred; 70% weightage).

Remuneration:

• Fixed Salary: ₹28,100/- per month.
