Essential Qualifications and Experience
To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, Biological Sciences, Life Sciences, or a related field with a minimum of 55% marks.
- Desirable Experience:
- Extensive experience in cancer genomics, including the analysis of next-generation sequencing (NGS) data from biological and clinical samples.
- Proficiency in Whole Genome/Exome Sequencing, Transcriptomics, and Targeted Sequencing of limited gene panels.
- Experience in establishing in-house bioinformatics pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of Linux, scripting, and R programming.
- Candidates with a minimum of 2 years of proven experience in academic institutions will be preferred.
