Position Overview: Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital & Research Centre is a premier cancer care and research facility funded by the Government of India and Tata Memorial Centre. We are seeking a motivated Junior Trial Coordinator to join our multidisciplinary research team. This role is essential for maintaining rigorous clinical research standards and ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Principal Investigator (PI) and research team to uphold clinical research standards.
- Assist in pre-screening and enrolling participants in clinical trials, managing their participation per ethical and regulatory requirements.
- Document and ensure the informed consent process is completed before any study-related procedures.
- Develop organizational aids and checklists to streamline patient recruitment and data collection.
- Maintain regulatory and study files for each research project.
- Communicate effectively with the Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC) as needed.
- Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory guidelines.
- Handle and store Investigational Products (IP) appropriately.
- Report Serious Adverse Events (SAEs) to relevant authorities.
- Engage with sponsor representatives regarding ongoing studies.
- Oversee study closure and results reporting.
- Supervise clinical research personnel as required and assist in their training.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry and manage the processing of biological samples.
- Participate in research start-up and educational activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Investigator/Head of the Department.
Qualifications:
- Graduation in Science (B.Pharm., Life Sciences, B.Sc., Bio-Tech, Zoology, Botany, etc.).
- Postgraduate diploma in Clinical Research is desirable.
- Age limit: 30 years.
Compensation:
Consolidated pay of ₹24,000 per month.
