1. Research & Development (R&D) – Job Description
Role & Responsibilities:
- Conducting research on new drug formulations and API synthesis
- Developing and optimizing chemical processes for API manufacturing
- Performing scale-up and technology transfer from lab to plant
- Ensuring compliance with GMP, ICH, and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams for process improvements
- Documenting research findings and preparing technical reports
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of organic chemistry, process development, and API synthesis
- Experience in HPLC, GC, spectroscopy, and other analytical techniques
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (USFDA, WHO, GMP)
- Problem-solving and innovation-driven mindset
2. Analytical Research & Development (AR&D) – Job Description
Role & Responsibilities:
- Developing and validating analytical methods for APIs and intermediates
- Conducting stability studies, impurity profiling, and method transfers
- Operating and maintaining HPLC, GC, UV, IR, and other lab instruments
- Ensuring compliance with GMP, ICH Q2, and pharmacopeial standards
- Preparing SOPs, analytical reports, and regulatory submissions
Skills Required:
- Expertise in analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, Dissolution, KF, etc.)
- Knowledge of ICH guidelines, method validation, and quality control
- Strong documentation and regulatory compliance awareness
- Ability to troubleshoot instrumentation and method-related issues
