Project Details:

- Duration: Up to 31.03.2026
Qualifications:
- Essential: M.Sc. in Biological Sciences, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Science, Biochemical Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent.
- Desirable: Experience in basic microbiological methods, isolation and maintenance of microorganisms, biotransformation, fermentation, etc.
Age Limit:
- Maximum 35 years as of the date of the interview.
- Age relaxation as per GOI/CSIR instructions for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.
Monthly Emoluments:
- Rs. 31,000/- + HRA for candidates selected through National Eligibility Tests like CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, or similar national level examinations.
- Rs. 25,000/- + HRA for other eligible candidates.
Important Instructions:
- The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, initially for ONE YEAR, extendable based on performance and project duration.
- Total engagement in different CSIR projects shall not exceed 5 years.
- Age relaxation applicable for certain categories including SC/ST/OBC/PWD and specific groups of women.

- Eligible candidates will be notified and invited for an online interview on MS Teams.
- The screening committee may shortlist candidates based on screening criteria if applications exceed available vacancies.
- Candidates can choose to interact in English or Hindi during the interview.
- CGPA/SGPA/OGPA grades must be converted to an equivalent percentage and documented.
- Only candidates who meet the eligibility criteria should apply.
- Verification of original documents will be done upon selection; any discrepancy will result in cancellation of selection.
