Educational Qualification:
- Senior Research Fellow:
- Essential: Post Graduate Degree in Plant Biotechnology/ Plant Molecular Biology/ Plant Molecular Biology & Biotechnology/ Agricultural Biotechnology/ Plant Sciences/ Genetics or Plant Breeding/ Biochemistry/ Life Sciences with 4 or 5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates with a 3-year Bachelor’s degree should have DGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification.
- Desirable: Research experience in plant tissue culture (preferably maize/rice/wheat tissue culture) and Molecular Biology.
- Young Professional-II:
- Essential: Post Graduate degree in Plant Biotechnology/ Plant Molecular Biology/ Plant Molecular Biology & Biotechnology/ Agricultural Biotechnology/ Plant Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Life Sciences OR Graduate degree holders in relevant Agricultural Sciences/Technology/ Engineering (i.e., 4 years degree).
- Desirable: Research experience in Plant Tissue culture (preferably maize/rice/wheat tissue culture), Genome editing, and Molecular Biology.
Age Limit:
- Senior Research Fellow: Maximum 35 years (Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST & women candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates as per GOI/ICAR rules).
- Young Professional-II: 21 to 45 years with relaxation as per rules.
Monthly Emoluments:
- Senior Research Fellow: Rs. 31,000/- + HRA per month.
- Young Professional-II: Rs. 42,000/- consolidated.

Terms and Conditions:
- The positions are purely temporary and will be filled on a contractual basis initially up to 31st March 2025, extendable based on satisfactory performance till the project ends.
