The Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST), Mohali, Punjab, an autonomous institution under the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, invites applications for the position of Project Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a research project funded by ICMR, Government of India.

Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- Postgraduate Degree in Biotechnology / Nanoscience and Nanotechnology OR
- Graduate / Postgraduate Degree in Professional Courses, selected through:
- National Eligibility Tests (e.g., CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship or GATE)
- National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments/Agencies such as DST, DBT, DAE, DRDO, ICAR, ICMR, IITs, IISc, IISERs, etc.
Age Limit:
- Not over 28 years as of 06.01.2025 (relaxable for certain reserved categories as per Government of India rules).
Fellowship and Duration
- Stipend: ₹31,000/- per month + HRA (as applicable)
- Duration: 6 months or until the project completion
General Terms and Conditions
- The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
- Selected candidates can apply for the regular Ph.D. program at INST, subject to eligibility.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
- Original documents (age proof, certificates, degrees, mark sheets, etc.) and self-attested photocopies must be presented during the interview.
