Job Description:

IQVIA seeks a Pharmaceutical Specialty Sales Representative for its Metabolic line in Providence, RI. This role is focused on generating volume and market share for assigned pharmaceutical products in a specific geographic area.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive growth of pharmaceutical products by increasing volume and market share within a specific territory.
  • Conduct sales presentations to physicians and healthcare professionals, mainly in office-based settings.
  • Develop a deep understanding of regional healthcare challenges, especially in managed health care.
  • Manage resources, including samples, promotional, and educational materials, within regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensure accountability for pharmaceutical samples in compliance with FDA and PDMA guidelines.
  • Utilize sales automation systems to document calls and activities.
  • Complete product and development training as required.

Candidate Profile:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required.
  • Experience:
    • 1-2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred, with a demonstrated impact record.
    • Minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience (business-to-business) preferred.
    • Established relationships within the targeted geography are beneficial.
