Position: Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)

Qualifications:

• Essential:
  • First class Post Graduate degree including integrated PG degree in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Applied Biology, Life Sciences
  • OR Second class Post Graduate Degree including integrated PG degrees with Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Applied Biology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences.
• Desirable:
  • Experience in nanoformulations, characterization techniques of nanoformulations, molecular techniques, lab animal handling and experimentation.
  • Preference for candidates with working experience in nanotechnology.

Emoluments:

• Rs. 56,000 per month + HRA @ Rs. 10,080 per month for the first two years.
• 5% increment in the 3rd year based on satisfactory performance.

Age Limit:

• Maximum age limit is 35 years.

• Venue: Committee Room, Modular Laboratory Building, 1st Floor, Division of Medicine, ICAR-IVRI, Izatnagar.

5. Contractual Terms:
   • The engagement is purely on a contractual basis and co-terminus with the project or performance of the candidate.
   • The PI reserves the right to terminate the engagement with 1-month prior notice without assigning any reason.
   • The maximum period of engagement is 36 months or the termination of the project based on the performance of the recruited staff.
   • Project staff are eligible for casual leave and restricted holidays but not other kinds of leave.
   • Candidates must submit a duly filled application with self-attested scanned copies of educational certificates, mark-sheets, testimonials/experience, etc. by post. Original documents will be required at the time of the interview.
   • Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date will not be considered.
6. Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on eligibility criteria, educational performance, and relevant experience. Only shortlisted candidates will be informed about the screening results via email and invited for an in-person interview. Employed candidates must bring a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer.
