Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and conduct an External Quality Assurance (EQA) program.
- Tasks include preparation of a sample bank, characterization of EQA samples, preparation and validation of the EQA panel, distribution of the panel, data collection, result analysis, and report and manuscript writing.
- Additional responsibilities include training subordinates and other related tasks.
Eligibility Criteria:
Essential:
- 1st class Master’s degree in Life Sciences from a recognized university with 2 years of experience in the related field.
- OR 2nd class Master’s Degree with Ph.D. in a relevant subject from a recognized university.
Desirable:
- Ph.D. degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Veterinary Sciences with 1 year of R&D/Teaching experience.
- Additional Post-doctoral research/training experience in relevant subjects.
- Experience in handling clinical samples, serological and molecular techniques, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Laboratory Quality Management Systems (LQMS), Internal Quality Control and External Quality Assurance (EQA), and NABL accreditation.
- Knowledge of computer applications or business intelligence tools/data management.
Notes:
- A Ph.D. degree in a relevant subject shall be treated as equivalent to three years’ experience.
Maximum Age Limit:
- 35 years (as on the last date of receipt of applications). Age relaxation as per GOI instructions.

Evaluation Criteria:
- Written Test:
- The written test will be of 80 marks.
- The syllabus will be at the B.Sc. level.
- No negative marking for wrong answers.
- Interview:
- The interview will be for 20 marks.
- Shortlisted candidates will be based on the application, CV, and provided documentary proof.
- The final selection will consider CV, application, written test, and interview.
