Eligibility Criteria
To apply for this Research Scientist position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Educational Qualifications
- A first-class postgraduate degree (M.Sc./M.Tech) in Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, or a related field.
- Candidates must have qualified for a National Level Eligibility Test such as NET or GATE.
- At least two years of research experience in relevant areas.
Desired Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in:
- Animal Handling: Mice handling, tumor inoculation, and various injection techniques.
- Cell Culture: Cancer cell culture and immunological experiments.
- Immunological Techniques: FACS, ELISA, T-cell activation assays, and p-MHC tetramer formulation.
- Molecular Biology: Transfection, lentivirus production, and protein purification.
- Nanotechnology: Nanoparticle synthesis, bioconjugation, and characterization.
Job Responsibilities
As a Project Research Scientist-I, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting experiments related to peptide-MHC complex production in bacterial and mammalian systems.
- Performing T-cell activation assays in vitro and in vivo.
- Working with animal models for tumor studies.
- Synthesizing and characterizing nanoparticles for therapeutic applications.
- Collaborating with the research team to achieve project milestones.
