Position Overview:
The Quality Medical Reviewer plays a critical role in the Medical Affairs team by reviewing and approving both promotional and non-promotional medical materials. This role ensures content accuracy and compliance with Lilly’s guidelines while collaborating across departments to facilitate efficient processes.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Review promotional and medical materials for medical accuracy and compliance.
- Apply Lilly’s quality requirements and processes consistently throughout the review.
- Verify data consistency and accuracy against source documentation and ensure clear presentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during content review and approval processes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of therapeutic areas, products, and trial designs.
- Utilize project management tools (e.g., Veeva Vault, Wrike) to enhance review efficiency.
- Address clinical/medical/scientific inquiries from team members in a timely manner.
- Participate in developing promotional and medical content with brand teams and regulatory partners.
- Uphold Lilly’s procedures and determine corrective actions for recurring issues.
- Facilitate shared-learning forums to identify best practices and challenges.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific or health-related field with a research component.
- 2-4 years of experience in scientific/medical editing, copywriting, or related fields within pharma.
- Strong understanding of scientific and statistical terminologies.
- Proven ability to influence, collaborate, and work effectively on cross-functional teams.
- Excellent prioritization skills with attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to diverse environments.
Additional Preferences:
- Familiarity with the US CIQ/MCA framework and tools like Veeva Vault and Wrike.
- Experience in creating and reviewing Medical Affairs communications.
- Knowledge of clinical pharmacology and therapeutic areas such as neuroscience, oncology, and more.
