Qualification:

• M.Sc. / M.Pharm / Ph.D. in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry.

Experience:

• 10–16 years in Peptide API projects (Analytical).

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Rich experience in complete characterization of peptides in compliance with FDA guidance regarding sameness.
• Expertise in establishing orthogonal approaches to understand impurities in peptide APIs.
• Proficiency in impurity profiling for Peptide APIs using LC, HRMS, and other methods for analyzing high molecular weight and charge-based peptide impurities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of primary, secondary, tertiary, and higher-order peptide structures using tools such as LC-MS, CD, and NMR.
• Capability to identify appropriate tools like SEC-UV/RI/MALS, Capillary Electrophoresis, and SV-AUC for aggregate characterization.
• Strong knowledge and experience in HPLC method development and peptide purification using Prep HPLC/DAC columns.
