Novartis is seeking an Analytical R&D Scientist to join their team. The role involves providing analytical and technical support at various stages of product development, including analytical method design, stability protocols, and excipient compatibility. The position is based in Hyderabad, India, and the application deadline is 20th February 2025.
Job Description:
- Provide analytical support to PHAD/project teams during product development (e.g., CSF, FMI, LCM).
- Design and author analytical documents such as analytical methods, stability protocols, and excipient compatibility reports.
- Support the Analytical Project Leader in setting analytical development strategies.
- Assist in data interpretation, result compilation, and sharing critical observations with the project team.
- Responsible for project-related sample handling, including sampling plans, storage, distribution, and reconciliation/destruction.
- Ensure timely completion of project activities, meeting KQIs and KPIs.
- Provide requests for lab activities to associates and stakeholders.
- Manage project logistics, including coordination with third-party testing laboratories.
- Communicate key issues and critical topics to the relevant management or team members.
- Act as a single point of contact for project execution activities and internal/external stakeholders.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Actively contribute to team goals and maintain high standards of work, following SOPs, GMP, GLP, and other relevant guidelines.
Candidate Profile:
- Education: M.Pharm, MSc (up to 10 years of relevant experience) or Ph.D. (minimum 4 years of relevant experience).
- Experience: Relevant experience in testing solid oral dosage forms.
- Skills:
- Analytical method development (e.g., dissolution, LC methods).
- Stability studies, forced degradation, excipient compatibility.
- Strong scientific/technical writing and presentation skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
