Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Safety Surveillance Associate to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the safety and efficacy of our products through meticulous case processing and surveillance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and select routine cases for processing, prioritizing based on established criteria.
  • Assess cases for complexities and escalate as necessary.
  • Review and document case details, including event terms, classifications, and reportability, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Write and edit case narratives, generating compliance reports within regulatory timelines.
  • Determine follow-up requirements and liaise with various stakeholders regarding safety data.
  • Develop expertise in Pfizer’s product portfolio and adhere to relevant regulations and internal policies.

Candidate Profile

  • Must be a Healthcare Professional (e.g., Pharmacy, Dentistry, Nursing).
  • Experience in pharmacovigilance or clinical research is preferred but not mandatory (0-6 years).
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with relational databases.
  • Ability to meet personal and departmental performance standards.
  • Capable of working under supervision in a matrix organization.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Experience in medical writing is advantageous.
