Role: Research Scientist – R&D

Qualification:

• PhD/Post Doc. in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or a relevant field.

Experience:

• 0-5 years of experience in the CRO industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform complex organic transformations independently, utilizing advanced techniques.
• Propose and execute literature procedures for organic transformations.
• Maintain detailed laboratory notebooks as per SOPs, including reaction schemes, stoichiometry, results, and observations.
• Scale up reactions efficiently from milligrams to gram quantities.
• Prepare and update reports, tracking sheets, and productivity sheets aligned with project requirements.
• Contribute to patents, scientific publications, and internal reports.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, environmental, and waste disposal protocols.
• Train and mentor Research Associates (RA) in advanced chemistry techniques, EHS, and QA protocols.
• Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and deliver results that meet or exceed expectations.
