Position: Apprentice
Job Description
- Maintain department cleanliness.
- Coordinate, monitor, and control departmental activities as per 21 CFR Part 111 and all applicable regulations.
- Achieve optimum productivity within specified quality by effectively utilizing available resources to meet market requirements.
- Train workmen and subordinates.
- Provide quality products and maintain the company’s quality system.
- Ensure avoidance of breach of data integrity at all levels.
- Implement effective sanitation activities at all levels.
- Identify and communicate internal and external QEHS issues, monitor needs and expectations of relevant parties.
- Implement QEHS policy and objectives.
- Ensure the use of PPE.
- Identify and communicate incidents and QEHS non-conformities, investigate and take corrective actions.
- Ensure work permit system during maintenance activities.
- Implement and monitor QEHS continual improvement projects at the site.
- Ensure proper waste disposal.
- Ensure worker participation and consultation.
- Allocate manpower.
- Monitor manufacturing and packing activities in the department.
- Perform in-process checks and update departmental records.
- Report material shortages to the planning department.
- Report incidents to Human Resources and the safety department.
- Plan manpower requirements to meet expected output and delivery schedules under the guidance of the HOD.
- Optimize the use of man, machine, and material resources.
- Ensure proper segregation of material, quality of products, and cleanliness of machines, walls, flooring, ceiling, windows, and scrap area.
- Coordinate with QA, QC, Stores, HR, IT, EHS, and Engineering departments.
- Ensure preventive maintenance of machines is done by the maintenance department.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external audits.
- Impart training to workmen and operators for GMP, personal hygiene, SOPs, packing processes, and company policies.
- Ensure compliance with safety measures.
- Implement and document ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45000:2018, and FSSC 22000.
- Authorized to prevent improper workplace conditions.
- Authorized to report hazards, incidents, accidents, and near misses.
- Authorized to prepare OH&S performance documents.
- Conduct training of workmen related to OHSMS.
