Key Responsibilities:

As an Executive/Assistant Manager at Provis BioLabs, you will play a crucial role in our Manufacturing Department by carrying out the following key responsibilities:

• Conduct experiments for downstream processing and protein purification: You will be involved in hands-on research to ensure the efficient separation and purification of proteins, contributing to the development of high-quality products.
• Design and optimize purification processes: This includes working with various chromatographic methods (affinity, ion exchange, size exclusion), ultrafiltration/diafiltration, and other downstream unit operations.
• Use and maintain purification equipment: You’ll be responsible for operating and maintaining key systems like AKTA, TFF, and other purification-related instruments to ensure smooth operations.
• Assure adherence to CGMP guidelines: You will prepare and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs), and other essential documentation to guarantee compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

To be assessed for this role, the ideal nominee must meet the next qualifications:

• Educational Qualification: A Master’s degree (MSc/M.Tech) in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• Experience: 3 to 6 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, specifically in downstream processing and protein purification.

• Hands-on experience in downstream processing: Command with chromatographic approaches and filtration expertise, such as relationship chromatography, ion interaction chromatography, and size exclusion chromatography.
• Equipment expertise: Familiarity with protein cleansing systems like AKTA, TFF, and centrifugation systems is important.
• Knowledge of CGMP guidelines: Comprehending CGMP regulations and how to implement them in daily processes.
• Analytical techniques: Substantial experience in laboratory operations, including SDS-PAGE, Western Blot, HPLC, and ELISA, to set protein purity and grade.
