Post: Pharmacist

Location: Reserve Bank of India, Chennai

Type: Part-time, contract basis with fixed hourly remuneration

Contract Duration: Maximum of 240 days, may be renewed based on performance

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• SSLC / Matriculation or its equivalent examination.
• Minimum qualification of Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized University registered under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
• B.Pharm degree holders can also apply.

Experience:

• Registered with State Pharmacy Council.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a pharmacist. Preference given to experience with PSB’s/ PSU’s /Government organizations.
• Basic working knowledge of computers.

Remuneration and Conditions:

• Fixed remuneration: Rs. 400/- per hour.
• Maximum of 5 hours per day, not exceeding Rs. 2000/- per day.
• Contractual basis, no entitlement to pay, allowance, or other perks/facilities.
• Allocation to any dispensary within Chennai as per the Bank’s discretion.
• No right to a temporary or permanent post in the Bank’s service.
• Must comply with all orders and maintain strict secrecy regarding the Bank’s affairs.

Selection Process:

• Shortlisting based on qualifications, distance of residence, experience with PSBs/PSUs/Government organizations.
• Interview for shortlisted candidates.
• Medical examination and document verification before engagement.
• No TA/HA & other allowances for attending the interview.
• Signing an agreement with the Bank before engagement.

Job Responsibilities:

• Comply with all orders and directions from superiors.
• Maintain strict secrecy regarding the Bank’s affairs.
• Serve the Bank honestly and promote its interests.
• Abide by conduct rules, including refraining from political activities, strikes, or unauthorized absence.

• Submit application in the prescribed format (Annex-I) along with photocopies of certificates (Professional/Academic/Other qualifications, caste certificate, experience certificate, age proof, etc.).
• Send to the Regional Director, Human Resource Management Department, Recruitment Section, Reserve Bank of India, No.16, Rajaji Salai, Fort Glacis, Chennai – 600 001.
• Deadline: 17:30 hrs on July 26, 2024 (Friday).
• Application should be in a sealed cover super-scribed as ‘Application for the post of part-time Pharmacist on contract basis with fixed hourly remuneration’.
