Responsibilities in the Job
As a Clinical Data Coordinator within our Clinical Data Management (CDM) group, you will play an essential role in ensuring high-quality data management across clinical trials. Your responsibilities include:
- Data Management Activities: Conduct data validation, review, and other critical tasks to ensure high-quality data that meets study timelines.
- Progress Monitoring: Track the progress of data cleaning activities and generate regular status reports for the Study Data Manager and study team.
- Study Plan Contribution: Participate in writing essential study plans like the Data Management Plan and Centralized Monitoring Plan.
- UAT Plan & Testing: Contribute to writing and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Plans. Provide feedback to the programming team and Study Data Manager on the database and other technical elements.
- Centralized Monitoring: Conduct centralized monitoring as per the Centralized Monitoring Plan to ensure data accuracy.
- Effective Communication: Ensure consistent and clear communication on data management activities at the study level, particularly regarding risks and issues.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role should possess:
- Educational Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Life Sciences or a related field.
- Experience: Prior experience in clinical data management.
- Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of regulatory guidelines related to data quality and clinical trials.
- Familiarity with CDM Technologies: Experience with clinical data management systems and the ability to learn new technical skills.
- Language Proficiency: Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
- Software Proficiency: Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
