Minimum Qualification:
- Must be a Matriculate having passed the Pharmacist exam from an Institute recognized/approved by the Government and registered with the Pharmacy Council with valid registration under the Pharmacy Act 1948.
- Alternatively, Matriculate/Diploma in Pharmacy/registered with the Pharmacy Council under the Pharmacy Act 1948 with valid registration.
Additional Requirements:
- Pharmacists must be registered with the State Pharmacy Council.
- The Diploma in Pharmacy should be recognized/approved by the Pharmacy Council/Central/State.
Written Test Details:
- Total Marks: 100
- Pattern: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) – 100 questions, 1 mark each.
- Mode: Conducted on OMR Sheet.
- Negative Marking: None.
- Qualifying Marks:
- General Category: 40%
- SC/ST Category: 35%

Selection Process:
- Application Scrutiny: Applications will be scrutinized by the concerned Regional Personnel Manager/Other Subsidiaries/CIL HQ Kolkata and forwarded to the Chief Manager (K. / Sr.), SECL HQ, Bilaspur.
- Written Examination: Eligible candidates will be informed about the venue and date of examination. It will be conducted centrally at SECL Headquarters, Bilaspur.
Important Notes:
- Salary will be protected as per rules.
- Selected employees will be posted in different areas of SECL based on vacancy and requirement.
- Applicants must carefully consider their application as refusal to take charge at the place of posting or requesting cancellation after taking charge may result in a two-year ban from future SECL selection processes for non-officer cadre posts.
