Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Manager for Analytical Research in our Quality Assurance (QA) department. This role involves providing leadership and direction to ensure the achievement of CMC Quality accountabilities and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Direction: Lead and motivate a diverse team to meet quality objectives.
- Analytical Method Development: Guide robust method development to minimize failures.
- Regulatory Support: Assist with pharmacopoeia updates and new regulations to enhance the quality system.
- Team Management: Utilize strong organizational and communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to analytical method development activities for Chemical Entities, API, and Drug Product Formulations.
- Method Validation: Oversee the review of Method Validation/Qualification/Transfer data, ensuring scientific rigor and adequacy.
- Procedure Development: Create systems to ensure compliance within the R&D function.
- Technical Support: Provide support for Plant Analytical Troubleshooting and regulatory inquiries.
- Quality Risk Management: Apply expertise in tools like FMEA, FTA, Heatmap, and Fishbone.
- Extractables & Leachables Study: Lead studies to ensure product safety.
Required Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of CGMP regulations.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Critical thinking and analytical evaluation.
- Excellent managerial skills with a positive approach.
- Proficiency in interpreting data from sophisticated analytical instruments (HPLC, GC, IC, SEM, TEM, etc.).
- Ability to prioritize based on business needs.
