Position: Manager – Packing (1 position available)
Job Description:
As the Packing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing production operations and ensuring the timely monitoring of commercial batches. Key responsibilities include:
- Production Oversight: Monitor line scheduling and assess plan vs. actual performance.
- Resource Management: Ensure the availability of necessary resources (area, machinery, manpower) for scale-ups, validation batches, and commercial production.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain product quality by adhering to documentation standards and reviewing production records.
- Team Leadership: Foster a disciplined and motivated team environment while ensuring proper training and skill development for all staff.
- Compliance: Implement and uphold Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and ensure adherence to all SOPs.
- Quality System Management: Oversee the quality system and culture in the production area, addressing deviations, investigations, and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintenance Oversight: Coordinate preventive maintenance, equipment calibration, and validation activities.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with the organization’s Environment, Health, and Safety norms.
- Process Management: Responsible for creating and releasing process orders for manufacturing and packing of commercial batches.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: M.Sc, B.Pharm, or M.Pharm degree.
- Experience: 12 to 15 years of relevant experience in regulated pharmaceutical plants.
