Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Number of Positions: 6

Monthly Stipend: Rs. 31,000/-

Tenure: Two years, extendable for another year (maximum)

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Biochemistry, Applied Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, Forensic Science, or M.Pharma.
• Additional Requirements:
  • Qualified National Eligibility Test – CSIR – UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE. OR
  • Selection in any other National Level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.

Preferred Areas of Specialization:

• LC-MS/MS assays/analysis of large peptides using immunopurification and/or small molecule assays.
• GC-MS/MS for small molecule assays using GC-triple quadrupole mass spectrometry.
• Gel electrophoresis, Immunoassay, Western blotting, flow cytometry/Hematology assays.
• GC/C/IRMAS.
• Experience in the analysis of samples in biological (Urine / Blood) matrix.

4. Preview and Submit: Verify all details in the preview of the registration form and submit once satisfied, as changes cannot be made post submission.

Terms and Conditions:

• The qualifications are the minimum required and should be in the specified areas.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written test and/or interview.
• Engagement is contractual for two years, extendable for another year based on performance.
• Notifications regarding the interview and shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the NDTL website. No separate call letters will be issued.
• The decision of the CEO, NDTL regarding selection will be final.

General Instructions:

• Performance will be reviewed yearly, and unsatisfactory performance may lead to contract termination with one month’s notice.
• Service conditions such as leave and tours will be as applicable to corresponding categories of contractual employees of NDTL.
