Position: Senior Research Fellow (One post)

Project: Development of highly infectious BSL4 viral agent’s pseudo viruses and its applicability to facilitate Research of Highly Pathogenic and Emerging Zoonotic Viruses

Principal Investigator: Dr. Sweety Samal

Salary: Rs. 42,000 + HRA

Age Limit: 35 years

Minimum Qualification and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Life Sciences or equivalent from a recognized University
• Two years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field
• National Eligibility Tests – CSIR – UGC NET including lectureship or GATE, or selection through national level examinations conducted by Central Departments and their agencies and institutions

Desirable Qualification & Experience:

• Experience in cloning, protein expression and purification
• Experience in cell-based assays, handling of Flow cytometry
• Working experience in Cell culture, propagation of live viruses, virus quantification, etc.

1. This is a short-term position, extendable based on performance and project tenure.
2. All qualifications should be from recognized Boards/Universities.
3. Experience should be post-qualification.
4. Age limit, qualification, experience, and other requirements may be relaxed at the discretion of the competent authority.
