Project Details:
The research project titled “Development of Novel Activation Modulated pH Triggered Controlled Release Gastroretentive In Situ Gelling System for Oral Delivery of Iron: In Vivo Evaluation in Human Subjects” (Project ID: IIRPSG 2024-01-00247) aims to revolutionize iron delivery systems. The project is sanctioned for three years, and the selected candidate will play a pivotal role in its execution.
Position: Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)
Location: KLE College of Pharmacy, Bengaluru
Duration: Initial appointment for 1 year, extendable up to 3 years based on performance and project requirements.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Essential Qualification: First-class M.Pharm, M.S (Pharm), M.Tech (Pharm), Ph.D., or Postdoc.
- Desirable Qualification:
- Valid GATE/GPAT/CSIR UGC-NET score.
- Experience in formulation development, controlled release systems, analytical techniques, animal handling, HPLC method development, clinical trial management, and scientific writing.
- Peer-reviewed publications in reputed journals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on pH-triggered controlled release systems.
- Develop and evaluate gastroretentive in situ gelling systems for iron delivery.
- Perform in vivo studies and manage clinical trials.
- Utilize advanced analytical techniques like HPLC for method development.
- Contribute to scientific writing and publish research findings.
