Responsibilities in the Job
Senior Research Associate (GC, GC-MS) / Research Associate
- Use gas chromatography (GC) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) for analytical testing.
- Create and verify analytical procedures.
- Prepare thorough reports and analyze difficult data.
GLP – AD&QC Research Assistant/Research Associate
- Conduct quality control and research in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) guidelines.
- Keep thorough notes of your tests and findings.
- Contribute to the creation and application of quality control protocols.
Research Associate/Assistant Professor (Quality Control – QMS)
- Assist with the Quality Management System (QMS) and guarantee adherence to industry norms.
- Perform internal audits and support remedial measures.
- Work together across departments to maintain standards for quality assurance.
Assistant Manager/Senior Research Associate in Corporate Quality Assurance (CQA)
- Oversee corporate quality assurance programs and make sure AD&QC guidelines are followed.
- Oversee teams responsible for quality assurance and collaborate with other divisions.
- Create and put into action plans for quality improvement.
Qualifications
The minimum educational requirement for all positions is an M.Sc. or M.Pharm., or its equivalent. The experience needed varies according to the role:
- Two to eight years of relevant experience as a research associate or senior research associate (GC, GC-MS).
- Requires 2-4 years of relevant experience to be a Research Assistant or Research Associate (GLP – AD&QC).
- 2-4 years of relevant experience as a research assistant or associate (quality assurance – QMS).
- Eight to ten years of relevant experience as a senior research associate or assistant manager in corporate quality assurance (CQA).
Skills
- Technical expertise: Mastery of GLP, AD&QC, QMS, GC, and GC-MS.
- Analytical Proficiency: Capacity to scrutinize information and draft elaborate documentation.
- Paying close attention to details: scrupulous about upholding correct documentation and standards of quality.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and vocal communication skills necessary for productive teamwork.
