Application for the position of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position for the BITS Hyd and La Trobe University project titled ” Formulation-based strategy to design membrane targeting antimicrobial peptide-based therapeutics for cancer and eye infections” under the supervision of Prof. Swati Biswas (BITS-Hyd) and Prof. Adam Mechler (La Trobe University). The candidate will be eligible to apply for the Ph.D. position next semester.
Scope of work : Synthesis of Polymers, peptides Characterization of physicochemical Parameter, Determination of anticancer therapeutic effect in the in vitro assay systems, Validation of the in vitro results in the in vivo animal models of tumor-bearing mice model and infectious disease models
Essential Qualification : Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (First-class with GPAT qualification) (Preferably in Pharmaceutics from a recognized University).
Desirable Qualification : GATE/NET/GPAT qualification with prior experience working on a project related to developing nanoformulations, mammalian cell cultures, and in vivo experiments. Strong interest in learning new techniques Proficiency in spoken and written English is highly desirable.
Fellowship : 37,000/- (initially first two years) and Rs 42,000 (afterward till the end of the project) per month for NET/GATE/GPAT qualified candidates.
