Eligibility Criteria

  1. Educational Qualification:

    • Registration with the Bihar Pharmacy Council is required.
    • Note: Even candidates with B.Pharm or M.Pharm degrees must possess a D.Pharm qualification.
  2. Age Limit:
    • Minimum Age: 18 years as of 1st August 2024.

      • UR Female: 40 years
      • BC/EBC (Male/Female): 40 years

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be based on a written competitive examination and work experience.

  1. Written Exam (Computer-Based Test):
    • Total Marks: 75
    • Syllabus: Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) level topics.
    • Exam Pattern:
      • 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
      • Duration: 2 hours.
      • Negative marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer.
  2. Work Experience:
    • Maximum of 25 marks (5 marks per year of experience in government or non-private hospitals).
  3. Minimum Qualifying Marks:
    • General: 40%
    • BC: 36.5%
    • EBC: 34%
    • SC/ST/Women/Disabled: 32%
