About the Organization:

Centre for Aromatic Plants (CAP) was established by the Government of Uttarakhand in 2003. It is a comprehensive business incubator for the development of the aromatic sector, offering facilities like survey, training, research, production of quality planting material, extension, distillation, and marketing under one roof.

Positions Available:

1. Project Scientist-I (Perfumery)
   • Number of Posts: 01
   • Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 56,000/- + HRA
   • Essential Qualification:
     • M.Tech in Perfumery and Flavour Technology with 2 years experience in Perfumery & fragrance creation
     • OR Doctoral Degree (Chemistry/ Chemical Sciences/ Pharma) with working experience in Perfumery and fragrance creation
     • OR Master’s Degree (Chemistry / Chemical Sciences / Pharma) and Post Graduate Diploma in the area of perfumery with 2 years experience in Perfumery and fragrance creation
2. Senior Project Associate
   • Number of Posts: 01
   • Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 42,000/- + HRA
   • Essential Qualification:
     • Doctoral Degree in Science / Life Science
     • OR Master’s Degree in Science / Life Science with 4 years experience in operations and maintenance of sophisticated instruments like ICP-MS/ GC-MS/ HPLC/ HPTLC
3. Project Associate-II (Perfumery/ Cosmetics)
   • Number of Posts: 02
   • Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 28,000/- + HRA OR Rs. 35,000/- + HRA (For NET/GATE Candidates)
   • Essential Qualification:
     • M.Tech in Perfumery and Flavour Technology/ Cosmetic Technology
     • OR Master’s Degree (Chemistry / Chemical Sciences / Pharma) / B.Tech (Perfumery / Cosmetics) / B.Pharma / Post Graduate Diploma in the area of Perfumery / Cosmetics with 2 years experience in product development / perfumery and fragrance creation
4. Junior Research Fellow (J.R.F.)
   • Number of Posts: 01
   • Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/- + HRA (as per UGC guidelines)
   • Essential Qualification:
     • Master in Science in Chemistry, M.Tech (Chemical Engineering) from a reputed institute
     • Preference given to NET Qualified candidates

Terms & Conditions:

1. Initial contract until 28th February 2025, extendable based on performance and availability of funds.
2. Original certificates required at the time of the interview.

5. Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.

8. Eligible candidates will be informed about the interview separately.
9. No TA/DA for attending the interview.
