Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Data Manager to oversee data management deliverables for assigned clinical trials. This role is critical in ensuring our databases meet project requirements and adhere to regulatory standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Data Management Oversight:
- Ensure clinical trial databases align with project specifications.
- Collaborate with project teams to monitor changes impacting data collection and cleaning.
- Attend client meetings as needed.
- Implementation and Execution:
- Understand study requirements for data collection.
- Develop study-specific edit check criteria and evaluate standard edit checks.
- Maintain comprehensive and organized study documentation.
- Lead study setup, including database design and obtaining necessary approvals.
- Database Accuracy:
- Review data for inconsistencies and collaborate to resolve issues.
- Track outstanding issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Report system bugs and enhancement needs to management.
- Mentorship:
- Train and support team members in data management processes.
- Foster a collaborative and professional work environment.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Quality Maintenance:
- Adhere to departmental procedures and contribute to SOP updates.
- Discuss and resolve departmental issues with management.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work with internal teams to address challenges and enhance organizational value.
- Participate in departmental initiatives and training new hires.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Stay updated on industry trends and attend relevant training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in clinical data management or related field.
- Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and regulatory guidelines.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
