Position Overview
The Head of Department at Agrosciences will oversee five teams focused on batch analysis and dose verification. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, ensuring timely completion of GLP studies, leading the development of analytical methods, and supporting business development.

Education & Experience

• Education: M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Chemistry (Specialization in Analytical Chemistry)
• Experience: 12-15 years in the industry with a focus on analytical chemistry

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage operations for batch analysis and dose verification teams.
• Manage P&L for the business unit.
• Oversee GLP studies to ensure compliance and timely completion.
• Lead impurity profiling and structure elucidation of unknown impurities.
• Develop analytical methods for HPLC, GC, ICP-MS, GC-MS/MS, LC-MS/MS, and others.
• Handle a variety of analytes such as organic, inorganic, polymers, UVCBs, etc.
• Prepare and review reports and protocols.
• Hire, train, and develop team members.
• Support business development in client interactions.
• Identify market needs and develop new analytical tests.

Required Skills

• Proficient in managing P&L, budgets, and resources.
• Experience working with analytical equipment (HPLC, GC, LC-MS/MS, GC-MS, ICP-MS, IC, etc.).
• Strong background in analytical method development for complex matrices.
• Expertise in spectral interpretation and structure elucidation.
• Knowledge of GLP and maintaining laboratory compliance.
• Experience in managing a team of at least 15 members.
