Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Safety Science Coordinator – II to assist with Clinical Safety and Pharmacovigilance (PSS) operations. This role involves managing and processing adverse event reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the adverse events process, including data entry and reporting to clients and regulatory bodies.
- Write patient narratives and accurately code adverse events using MedDRA.
- Generate queries for missing information and assist in the reconciliation of databases.
- Support quality reviews of processed reports and maintain adverse event tracking systems.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal SOPs.
- Train and mentor PSS assistants and provide administrative support to the team.
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in clinical safety or pharmacovigilance.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with MedDRA coding and regulatory requirements.
