Eligibility Criteria:
- Post-Doctoral Translation Scientist:
- 0-2 years of postdoctoral or industry experience
- PhD in any life sciences or engineering discipline (interdisciplinary work in life sciences preferred)
- Strong publication or patent record
- Exceptional candidates who have submitted their PhD thesis may also apply
- Preference for candidates with national-level fellowship certificates (e.g., CSIR-JRF, UGC-JRF, DBT-JRF)
- Translation Scientist:
- More than 2 years of postdoctoral or industry experience
- PhD in relevant fields as mentioned above
- Strong publication or patent record
- Experience in healthcare or agricultural applications is preferred
- Understanding of intellectual property management and commercialization is desirable
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and execute translational research projects and protocols for Discovery to Innovation Accelerator (DIA) projects.
- Conduct experiments, collect and analyze data, and maintain accurate records.
- Perform literature reviews and participate in project-related meetings.
- Collaborate with a team of professionals at DIA and C-CAMP.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Undertake training on relevant techniques and mentor team members.
Contract Details:
This is a contract position with a consolidated salary based on qualifications and relevant experience.
