The ICMR-National Animal Resource Facility for Biomedical Research (ICMR-NARFBR), Hyderabad, is seeking a full-time Consultant (Technical) on a contractual basis to assist with the Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) accreditation process. This role is crucial for supporting the institute’s compliance with GLP standards.
Position Details:

- Engagement Period: Initially 1 year, extendable based on performance.

Qualifications:
- Essential:
- M.Sc./M.V.Sc./M.Pharm/M.Tech/MBA with research and development experience, including published papers on preclinical animal trials under GLP.
- OR: Retired Government employees with a Grade Pay of Rs.4600/- and 20 years of GLP-certified preclinical trial experience.
- Desirable:
- 10 years of experience in GLP-certified preclinical trials or GLP certification processes.
- Knowledge of OECD GLP principles and test guidelines.
Job Description:
- Prepare GLP certification applications and compliance documents per OECD/NGCMA guidelines.
- Liaison with GLP certification authorities.
- Respond to queries/observations from GLP authorities.
- Undertake other GLP-related tasks as assigned by the Director.
Remuneration:
- Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 1,00,000 per month (consolidated), based on qualifications and experience.
Additional Terms:
- No allowances such as DA, transport, or medical reimbursement.
- Eligible for 10 days of leave per year.
- No TA/DA for joining or completion, but travel for official work is reimbursable as per rules.
- Full-time position with working hours from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
