Key Responsibilities
As a Young Professional-II, you’ll participate in:
- Managing mammalian and insect cell cultures.
- Using biochemical and molecular biology techniques.
- Using immunological approaches for study.
- Viral propagation employing advanced cell lines.
This position necessitates a good foundation in Life Sciences and hands-on experience with cell cultures and molecular biology techniques.
Qualification and Skills
- Candidates must have a master’s degree in veterinary science, biotechnology, molecular biology, biochemistry, microbiology, bacteriology, virology, immunology, or life science.
- Desirable Skills: Previous experience with mammalian and insect cell cultures, biochemical procedures, molecular biology tools, immunological techniques, and viral propagation is strongly preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: The position pays a combined monthly salary of Rs. 42,000/-, as per ICAR rules.
- Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 and 45 years old on the interview date, with age relaxations as per Government of India norms.
- Project Duration: Initially until March 31, 2025, or until the project is completed, whichever occurs first. The role may be extended depending on the organization’s needs and the candidate’s performance.
